Where the journey is taking us
Efficient IT systems are essential for gas trading and our business as a whole. Because that is the case, we are continuously developing these systems and our digital service offerings. One example of this is the VNG business portal: We have created a modern, central platform for managing all aspects of your contract.
Our digital roadmap
As part of the VNG 2030+ corporate strategy, we are doing more than just what’s necessary: We also want to harness the full potential of the digital transformation internally at VNG Handel & Vertrieb. The decisive factors for success are our employees and their skills. Since 2018, we have therefore been challenging and encouraging our employees to come with us
on a long-term digital journey with various milestones. For example, we have set up a digital workspace for them, which makes working with IT applications easier. With this and numerous other initiatives, we are creating the conditions for agile working and the digital business ideas of tomorrow and beyond.

VNG is a group of companies headquartered in Leipzig, comprising more than 20 companies across Europe with around 2,000 employees. As a gas importer, wholesaler and operator of critical gas infrastructure, the Group is committed to ensuring a secure supply of gas in Germany.
The "VNG 2030+" strategy also places a clear emphasis on the ambitious roll-out of renewable and low-carbon gases such as biogas and hydrogen. As such, we are paving the way for a decarbonised energy system that ensures security of supply.
