The East German Hydrogen Congress will take place for the first time on August 26, 2026, from 9.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. at the International Congress Centre Dresden.
The event brings together stakeholders from business, politics, and academia. The focus is on current developments along the hydrogen value chain, ranging from production and storage to transportation and applications in industry and mobility. The congress aims to help raise the national and international profile of Eastern Germany as a leading hydrogen hub.
VNG Handel & Vertrieb GmbH will also be represented at the event. This year's event is themed “Shaping the hydrogen market effectively!” and serves as a marketplace and accelerator to bring together relevant stakeholders in the gas and hydrogen industry, discuss technical project details, and accelerate the development of the hydrogen economy and its market activation.
